Sleeping bag for baby.... ops bukan babylah

Yup.. its not for baby but for barbie.

That is one of Izzah's request these few days, she actually asked for a long sleeve dress and a tudung for all her barbie dolls. Aiyaaaaaa.. manyak susah mau buat. at last after she membebel2 pasal tak buat lagi baju2 barbies tuh, I made sleeping bag for them... just to kept her silent for a while hahaha

Izzah stood besides me when I was sewing this, and she reminded me about the pillow... how easy it is to make a pillow for the barbies hehee. siap ajar lagi tuh.

Then I got an idea, why not attached a pillow to this sleeping bag.. she buys the tricks and agree with it. "Alaa umi tuh.. nak jimat kain ler tuh" wakakaa

I sew this on Friday night... 

The pattern was actually taken from McCall's Quilt, but I dont actually follow the tutorial and the instructions. I challenged myself to do on my own, the first 4 blocks are well done, but the third row fuhhhh... the blue one is totally out because of wrong fabric selection.

And the last one suppose to be the Party Hat pattern, tapi nampaknya jadi Party Frog pattern hahaha.. betul tak? Nampak macam katak. And I was a bit lazy to redo... lantak ler labuuuu

I called this quilt Puzzle Patchwork Wallhanging. Ok.. lepas ni boleh FMQ plak...

I am expecting.... expecting few guests to come to my home this week. therefore I need an extra spaces at the family area, in case they are not comfortable to sleep in the room. Dah ramai2 tak selesa kan.

Here is my workstation,  a new look, dumping everything in one side of the tiny family area.. fuh

Truthfully, I hide it, 

Malas nak menjawab pertanyaa.. "Banyak kain2 tuh...Banyak tempahan ke???" hahaha

On saturday sempat lagi saya pergi belajar buat telekung dengan kak Zai of Zairazone, uihhh tersangat happy tau, so now telekung alteration dah masuk dalam list. Nanti2 saya cerita in detail n tunjuk telekung yang dah siap, now in final process.. belum siap betul lagi. Wokey lepas ni 1 telekung for mak, 1 telekung for MIL... semangat berangan.

Its "me" time

Its 2nd day of December today..

I am happy and soo happy.. why?

kerana saya dah siapkan segala tempahan quilt yang ada dan untuk bulan ini, saya dah reserve untuk projek2 jahit untuk diri sendiri. Yup..  I am closed to any order.

Tapi kalau ada yang kata tak kisah siap akhir January, saya ambik je lah kan. Tak baik hampakan harapan orang.

Semalam first time buat refashion jeans Izzah, rasanya dah almost 3 years dia pakai jeans tuh, dah singkat sangat dah. Kebetulan hubby belikan saya jeans few weeks ago, dan agak panjang, so I cut it. Lebih nya tuh sambung kat jeans Izzah hehehe..

Pelik tak eks.. alah.. fesyen kan wakaka.

And here is my scrap in kaleidoscop (did i spell it right?) pattern.. I need a new cushion cover then..

I used a paper piercing method to sew all the scraps...

here is another scrap project, scrap in hexies, also using paper piercing method..  nak jadi apa agaknya..  I dont have any idea yet.

YES!!!!!!

Pejam celik, pejam celik, dah 11 bulan kita di tahun 2011 yer. Another 31 days to go for a new year... betul tak.

Bila akhir tahun ni banyak perkara yang selalunya in mind:

- Cuti sekolah... lega sebab tak kalut pagi2, jalan pun tak jem.. aman dan damai jerr

- Time ni lah kita nak habiskan cuti kan... anak cuti, mak bapak pun sakan jugak cuti hehehe

- Tak lupa kunjungan dari sedara mara yang datang bercuti jugak.

- Dan tak lupa jugak YES! YES! Apalagi kalau bukan Year End Sales... bukan takat baju sekolah, baju raya pon ada yang dah start beli wakaka (uihh dengornyer kain wat tudung kat jakel sale yang plain pun RM7 jer semeter, betul idok nnt2 ler mokcik tengok ok)

Kami sekeluarga takdelah plan nak bercuti sakan sangat pun, cuma last week kami kesini.. (maafkanlah kualiti gambar yang so n so jer, almaklum guna camera handphone tua kesayangan hamba niii hehe)

Cuba teka kat mana haha.. main teka teki plak kan.. oklah.. kami ke JB, then disebabkan Izzah beriya2 sangat nak mandi laut, kami ke Desaru.. fuhh jauh nyerrrr. ingatkan dekat jer

Dimana kah Izzah?

Tu dia.. jauh kat tengah tuh, seronok main ombak. Nasiblah pantai ni landai, bolehlah seronok main ombak yang agak kuat tuh.

Ops ops... cop! sebenarnya saya nak bgtau.. sempena YES ni, saya bagi free posting (menggunakan registered post) untuk setiap pembelian fabric di sini. Untuk pembelian starting 1/12/2011 - 31/12/2011
