Wristlet.. ClutchPurse.. what eva d name

Saya dah lama mengidam nak buat curvy clutch purse macam ni...nak yang gomok gomok skit, boleh muat banyak barang kat dalam... amik kau.. mmg gomok betul purse ni. Macam bole buat sling bag, sebab tuh saya letak 2 telinga hahahaha.. bole jadi sling bag, boleh juga jadi wristlet ikut kesesuaian, kiri or kanan boleh di piat2 telinga ni sesuka hati haha

Clutch ni dapat dari free pattern kwiksew.. memang senang kalau ada pattern nii. tekap jer kat kain, gunting and start jahit.. aduii sesenang tuh ke hehehehe ni yang terasa nak membeli pattern ni

Eversince I saw K.Dee's posting on her new thread catcher, I know that I need this too for my sewing corner.

Coincidentally, sama pulak dengan tema Jom Jahit this month. So boleh memeriahkan lagi jom jahitler nampaknya.

Pada musim2 exam akhir tahun niii.. Izzah tido awal, semalam by 10pm dah tak sedar diri dah, so bolehlah saya memulakan projek hahaha.. kiranya dlm 2 jam jugaklah nak siapkan semua niii.. tadaaaa

yang simple simple saja..

tapi bila compare with Kak Dee punya.. huhuhu teringin nak ada yg berpatchwork camtuh plak hahaha

rasanya macam terlebih besar plak box tuh.. aduiiii bole isi mcm2 tuh.

Opss lupa nak bgtau... I used my new tools in d house.. KAM snap pliers with snap button.

Rasanya mcm kena buat satu lagi ler.. jiran sebelah jelezzz..

Hari ini baru tergerak hati nak join giveaway label daripada NamakuZubaidah.. uitttt dah last day tuh. Saya memang tak pernah menang mana2 giveaway pon takat nii.. Apa pon just join untuk memeriahkan lg giveaway ni kan...

My Envelop Card Holder

I saw this simple tutorial from Anic on Envelop Card Holder.

I read that there is no turning the fabric and no pulling the interfacing through a small hole, I decided to have a try on it...

Here is the small envelop card wallet and itssss mother hihihi.. I enlarged it and make it something like clutch, really easy to do it..

One more... this one is mine

For the 'mother', I attached a zippered coin slot in front

For this one I put it inside..

Cloth Pad.. 5th Version

I am not finished yet with my cloth pad.. Still looking for a room for improvement.. so kat mana lagi nak cari info kan.. kat pakcik Google ler..

I found lots of info on cloth pad from this site http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~obsidian/clothpads/index.html.. mmg macam2 ada, especially for a beginner like me. Pattern free pon ada dan macam2 bentuk plak tuh.

Then I came across to this tutorial from AlterEco on folded cloth menstrual pad. I have been thinking about this before... but only in my imagination, because my concern is on how easy it is to dry. Being a part time housewife, rarely spend my daytime at home, agak susah nak keringkan CP tu under the sun. Kalau nak masuk dalam washing machine macam pelik plak kan.. takat 2 ketul CP jer hihihi, jauh kena jalan tuh.. dari masterbedroom, turun tangga, lalu kitchen, then baru nampak washing machine tuh.. aku yang malas..

So malam tadi, selepas Izzah dah tidur, saya pon memulakan experiment.. dan hasilnya camni lah

My  own folded CP. Saya menggunakan tuala jer. Sbb rasanya kain tuala mmg best, senang menyerap dan senang basuh.

And kalau rasa nak tebal lg.. bole add another layer camni

Some more.. lebar pad pon adjustable..

CP nii tak siap sepenuhnya pon lagi. To finish it with my snap press.. which is still on the way from tinytapir hahaha..

Sharing My Notes on A line Princess Dress

Last weekend was the most productive weekend (I think) in my sewing corner.. no more open house invitation to attend.. no more people came in for raya.. tambah pulak Izzah agak kurang sihat, batuk dan demam, so I prefer to stay at home only.

Nak spend time depan TV.. emmm boleh mati keboringan, apa taknya, 3 kali dok ulang tayang Pendekar Bujang Lapuk.. apsal ler Izzah suka sangat and Astro plak dok asyik rewind the same film.

Therefore I made this note.. for my future references, I dont claim it as a tutorial as in my opinion is not brief enough to claim it as a tutorial.. what do you think.

This note also not meant for a beginner.. at least have basic knowledge in drafting a simple pattern ler. My pattern is always be in old news paper hihihi.. senang nak buang lepas gunakan..

Here is the new dress for Izzah, memang her favourite type of dress lerr. Selalunya kalau dengan Tam (her aunty), mesti request nak lg kembang, especially full length A line dress.. kira mcm jubah lerr..

Kain ni berkaki, beli dari saliza, Kain oh Kain, and only 0.75 meter left. mencabar jugak nak gunting kain yg limited dan berkaki camni

What u need is a normal dress pattern

Draw a line menyambungkan titik tengah bahu-dada-pinggang-punggung. Tandakan dat kat pinggang, mine=1 inci.

Then start dari punggung ke bawah draw 2 line yg bersilang, refer gambar yer. then draw a zigzag.

Then potong pattern seperti dibawah

Gunting kain mengikut pattern seperti ini..

--- Ini bahagian depan, tengah yang bercantum

--- bahagian depan, tepi

then potong bahagian belakang baju, bahagian tengah bercerai untuk lekatkan zip

--- you will get 3 pieces bahagian depan.. mcm ni

-- and 4 pieces bahagian belakang mcm ni

Cantumkan semua pieces.. u will get this.. utk bahagian depan

and this at the back.. saya guna zip hitam jer sbb ni jer yg available.. alaa baju nak pakai kat rumah je pon kikiki.. kalau pandai sembunyikan.. gerenti tak nampaknyer hihihi

Then.. bolehlah cantumkan baju and lengan seperti biasa..

At last jd ler camni

Kat lengan tuh saya gunakan cotton lycra.. mmg very stretchy, mmg senang sangat nak letak sbg grip, even better than letak elastic.

Not only that...

I made a legging for her.. using the cotton lycra, mmg sedap pakai n sejuk cotton lycra nii

Ni model tak sabar nak pakai.. lepas mandi n belum lap rambut hahahaha

Hopefully ada orang yang boleh ambil manfaat dari nota kaki saya ni yerr

Cloth Pad.. My 4th Version

I found this pink flowery flannel during my shopping spree at Jln TAR..

Here it is my 4th version (waaaa sudah banyak version rupernyer) of Cloth Menstrual Pad.

Thanks to Anic for sharing her ZORB with me. I think its good for a heavy flow cloth pad.. but honestly I have not tested it yet.

The Green one is actually a pantyliner but can be used for a light flow too because it is backed by PUL.

Here is at the back of the CP.. its actually an improvised version of my 3rd CP. The wings attached to the pad in the middle so that there will be no leakage to the wings side...

My passion to patchwork haha.. I have no plan yet with this patchwork.. just do it because I like the pattern, thinking of whether a baby blanket or a table cloth emmm will think about it later... may be put aside in my UFO basket first..

Pelari Meja Baru Saya (My New Table Runner)

Kalau dterjemah perkataan "Table Runner" ni dalam bahasa Melayu jadilah ianya Pelari Meja kan... pelik tak terjemahan tuh yer? Ada tak istilah lain yang lebih tepat agaknya yer?

So inilah hasilnya My WIP arituh...

After spending the whole day today finishing it (minus the housework, the shopping session, cooking etc etc)

A bit closer look..

Sorry.. lebih kepada binding tuh ahak.. bukan apa.. excited sangat dengan binding, nampak ok sangat (from my eye view hik hik-terlebih excited ni)

Honestly, there is no flowers to put in my coffee table (even other part of the house).. as it will only add up my weekend task (as a part time housewife offcourse).

But I plan to add all these flowers to my home sooon.. still in making hihi. Thinking of a wall hanging emm.. we'll see

Merajuklah lagiiii

Ada budak tuu kan.. muncung sedepa bila tengok umi pakai wristlet baru semalam.

Dia pon nak jugak..

So umi dengan senang hati buatkan pencil case baru..

Bagi mulut yang muncung itu senyum kembali hihihi.. mcm Doraemon tuhh kan

Lepas tuh datang plak idea untuk buat phone pouch plak.. very simple one jer.. for my Nokia6220 ni. Roommate dah dok suruh tukar baru nii.. sebab dah lebih 2 tahun pakai.. patut ka yer?
