2 in 1 Fabric Flower Tutorial

Guess... are these two flowers or just one?

Well.. looking at the title you must have known it already right..

And here I would like to share the tutorial.

Things needed:

7 pieces 3.5 inch Square (you can have you own measurement, as long as its a square)

Thread and needle

Scissor

If you had a craft glue then it would be much better.

Well, I think the pictures speak better than words..

Just pull out the fabric

Secure the back with stitch too

Here you are.... you have 2 choices, this side

or the other side

Here is my first trial.. using 6 petals only

And here is the 7 petals... the one that I made in this tutorial

Addicted to.... Fabric

Salam pagi Jumaat kawan2 semua. Hari Jumaat adalah penghulu segala hari dan juga hari yang sungguh menggembirakan bagi para buruh paksaan seperti saya ni... sebab esok cutiiii horeyyyyy (me: sila siapkan kerja2 anda dulu yerrr)

Saya ni dah dapat hobby baru, hobby baru saya ni mengalahkan penagih ganja rupanya, tapi mahalnya lebih kurang ler jugak hahaha... apa lagi shopping kain lah kan (ini hobby dari dulu lagi kan), tapi kalau dulu dok cari locally, now mengembangkan sayap cari kat over the sea plak aduhhhh sudah makin parah.

Yang ni fresh from envelop.. Bila tengok kain2 ni hati jadi happy sakan jer, nak buat apa tuh kendian ceritalah yerrr

Aishhhh bulan ni kena post siap2 duit ke ASB keee akaun LTH kerrr kan.. tinggalkan balance untuk lunch jer dah lah kan.. kalau idok, abihlah daku shopping sakan lagi... dan dan satu lagi, credit card tuh letak bawah bantal lah... aiyakkk paypal kan ada.. (me: memikirkan cara terbaik utk menipu diri sendiri hahaha)

Wokehlah.. kalau ada sesapa kenan dengan kain2 kat atas tapi nak small quantity jer, I am more than willing to share it you. Bolehlah ke Fabric for sale kat sini ok. Maximum one yard je lah, banyak2 kang habis plak kain2 saya ni hahaha...

My Happy Day..

What a happy day todayyyy...

Semalam dapat hadiah giveaway.. jangan tak caya.. its my first time ever dapat giveaway.. its a heavy cotton scrap by Tini.. Yezzz I am always in favour of scrap, yang bestnya scrap ni besar2 plak tuh... emmm mokcik tgh pikior nak wat aper niii hihihi. Thank you Tini.

Fabric Folding : Anyone would like to try?? (with tutorial)

Remember my first trial in making a flower fabric folding here?

And now, I try to share with you on how to do it...

What I did first is to try on paper folding, but off course, its a different material and need a different approach, but its good to do it on paper so that we know how was the end result suppose to be..

What we need is a paper, cut into square, one thing to remember, the end result is half of the original square, i.e. if we use 6 inch x 6 inch square, the end result will be 3x3 inch square.

One piece of square fold into 2, then open it..

Fold each  4 corners

Then terbalikkan.. fold the paper as in the picture

Repeat step 5, 6 & 7  for each 4 corners

Then buka lipatan bahagian bawah.. tadaaaaaa u will get this..

OK now.. lets do it on fabric..

I am using a 6 x 6 inch cutting here

Fold each corner and fastened with a pin (picture C)

Then terbalikkan fabrik dan tandakan titik tengah seperti picture D (sila perhatikan titik2 oren tuh yer)

Gunakan jarum dan benang cantumkan titik tengah tadi seperti gambar E

Then lipat fabrik ke bahagian dalam, seperti gambar F dan jelujur kasar

Tadaaa.. dah siap.. macam senang je kan.. Then bolehlah ianya di iron, bagi kemas skit

Now dah boleh lekatkan border... for this one I am trying a mitered corner hahaha.. what a waste of fabric but the result is awesome,

Then bolehlah buang jelujur tadi, jelujur keliling sahaja, bukan at the centre of it tau..

Bolehlah kelim cantik2 kelopak bunga anda yerrr

Hasilnyaaaaa...

Testing Testing 1 2 3

Anybody tried fabric folding before????

I should say its a messy work to do.. if compared to paper folding.. but the result is awesome..

Testing testing 1 2 3 pinky flower here..

Need more practise of course.... but I am really happy with the result of my first trial...

How about putting a button like this??? wahhhh... will do it after this... kalau butang pink lg ok kut.. or dark red...

Nak buat apa agaknya dengan semua ni... buat cushion cover pun ok kan...

Anyone would like to try????? need a tutorial???
