MyBotang Sew Along - Appliqué Project (Phase1)

Phase 1 : Print pattern, instruction and choose fabrics - 11 - 17 April (1 week)

Camana nak mula niii.. emmm kumpul2 bahan2 yang diperlukan lah dulu yer..

My plan this time is to clear off my scrap... yesss I love scraps.

Ok.. apa yang ada, and apa yang takde.. and what is the alternative (my mind keep on thinking hehehe)

Lets refer to step by step instructions by sewmamasew , everything are there EXCEPT paper-backed fusible adhesive..

Aiyooo mana mau cari yer?

Ada or takde project mesti mau jalan... ahaaaa I get the solution in mind... why not use the interfacing, medium thick and use the handicraft bond.. or incase tak jalan jugak, I will use my adhesive spray hehehe. Yang penting ianya melekat both side kan.

Just sharing, melalui pengalaman2 lalu dengan applique ni (takat satu dua projek jer pon), the interfacing is a must to prevent the fabric from fraying... and making it stable when we sew it. Dan kalau kita refer to any tutorial on the net, mesti diorg pakai fusible web or kekadang ada yang guna freezer paper. Kalau tanya kat saya, camna bentuknya freezer paper niii.. memang saya tak pernah tengok(live), rasa, apatah lagi menggunakannya.

The backing fabric... aggghhhh.. saya memang selalunya termenung lama depan fabric2 yang saya ada. 

Then saya pilih this combination..

emmm ok tak eks.. still thinking.. kang tetiba dapat firasat dan makrifat lain.. tukar plak hahha.
