DONE

First - Finished the 20th tudung in the list on Saturday night.. what a relief... and i take my own sweet time ironing it till late 2 am in the morning.. and now here it is the parade of the beautiful tudungs that I made..

the expected date for me to finish all these was end of may, but I end up finishing it in the first week of May.. I am Happy with it.. kalau anda customer, suka tak?

Second - Finishing my 3R project, blanket from old shirt, all in blue (tumpang katil Izzah jap untuk posing posing before masuk washing machine haha)

With simple embroidery stitch at the binding.. I heart this binding.. nampak cantik sangat pada mata saya hihi

Blanket ni tak tebal sangat, no batting. Memang sesuai dengan cuaca di Malaysia niii..

Third - project sampingan bila menjahit tudung. You know I hate leaving my bobbin with multicolour thread. I love clearing off all bobbins that I used, and when sewing tudung, at least I need two bobbins with the same thread color when using the twin needle..

This is my lil project to clear off the thread hehe..

Made of the smallest pieces from my scrap box..

Boleh jadi alas piring yg panas or a pot holder too

And practising FMQ too..

A first the stitch keep on jumping especially when it comes to corner.. this makes me feel tired.. tired looking at the jumping thread aaghhhh

Then I adjust the thread tension.. makin tension adeler hahaha.. then I remember something.. opssss I used needle size 14... yeeeahhh it turn out very good when I changed to needle size 18 yaahooo

My learning point today : use appropriate needle size..

I am supposed to have finished the fourth project.. but the serger buat hal. {camni ler selalunya bila tukar benang sigh:( } Lucky that I had a super hero in the house.. I love you my super hero. Yes, he always good at fixing things, and I am always be the "tikus" who want to fix a "labu". TQ TQ

The end of my long weekend - and today.. I had a clumsy Monday.. when i opened my eyes in the morning, its already 7.20am.. OMG!!!!!

Guest how big is it???

its 1.4meter x 2 meter (made from 4 XL Shirt) waaaa.. thought of a small banket for Izzah, but the outcome is a single size blanket... susah rasanya nak percaya.

I dont intend to quilt it, just a simple backing without batting. I know my Izzah very well, she is kind of allergic to thick blanket.. thats why the aircond must be above 22degree..  go green..haha

And here are our craft project for the Teachers' Day.. Izzah was a bit excited with sewing lately. But most of the time she will do halfway.. I am the one who finished it aarrrghhh.. geram betul.

Coaster Siries..

Inspired by the coaster and caddy in the latest Quilts & More magazine, I made this..



I make use of my Yuwa Live Life Japanese linen cotton.. and sew simple embroidery from my NV50.. I am using a natural colour thread, so that it will not interrupt the print.

Macam-macam cerita...

Welcome back to the office.. sighhh.

Asal cuti lama skit jer mesti rasa lemau nak balik ke ofis kan, nak pergi ke ofis lemau, tapi gaji mau... apo lah. Semangat skitlah.. this week pun just 4 working days.. be happy ok.

Updating my books collection (opsss our book collection : me n my sister), these are some of the books that we found at KLIBF2011. If not mistaken, this year not as big as last year, but still sesak.

Macam2 pattern sulam benang boleh dapat kat sini, tapi teknik hardanger tak banyak sangat..

horeyyyy.. akhirnya jumpa buku khas untuk baju melayu, memang ada pattern baju melayu yang potong atas bahu

camni ler baju melayu cekak musang dengan bahu mendatang (focus kat bahu tuh yer.. bukan kat muka model tuu hehe).. kebanyakan butik yang buat baju lelaki akan buat baju melayu bahu mcm ni, walaupon berpesak, memang selesa di pakai dan bahagian bawah baju nampak sama/selari jer.

Ada lagi beberapa buah buku on quilt yang saya dapat dengan harga RM15 jer... memang menarik jugak and with pattern, lain kali saya update lagi pasal buku ni ok.

Ini pulak aktiviti saya semalam, sebenarnya dah lama saya simpan baju-baju kemeja hubby yang saiz XL nii (saiz lama ok.. now dah guna semula saiz M hihihi), sayang nak buang or donate sebab kain2 baju kemeja ni kebanyakannya cotton... ni dari 1 beg, ada 2 beg lagi kita guna kendian..apa yang saya nak buat niii.. jeng jeng

Buang semua butang baju tuh.. boleh reuse.. ada plak nanti baju DIY berbutangkan butang Smalto/AlainDelon haha

Penat memotong baju ni.. at last saya potong jer 4 helai dulu, tengok besar mana boleh dapat, kalau kecik sangat baru sambung potong.. nak jadi apa dengan "charm pack" saya nii.. TUNGGUUU yerrrr.

Ini aktivit saringan jer, my main activity is to sew that 20 tudung. Done with 9.. ada lagi 11... tak sabar nak siapkan semuanya......
