I found lots of info on cloth pad from this site http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~obsidian/clothpads/index.html.. mmg macam2 ada, especially for a beginner like me. Pattern free pon ada dan macam2 bentuk plak tuh.
Then I came across to this tutorial from AlterEco on folded cloth menstrual pad. I have been thinking about this before... but only in my imagination, because my concern is on how easy it is to dry. Being a part time housewife, rarely spend my daytime at home, agak susah nak keringkan CP tu under the sun. Kalau nak masuk dalam washing machine macam pelik plak kan.. takat 2 ketul CP jer hihihi, jauh kena jalan tuh.. dari masterbedroom, turun tangga, lalu kitchen, then baru nampak washing machine tuh..
So malam tadi, selepas Izzah dah tidur, saya pon memulakan experiment.. dan hasilnya camni lah
My own folded CP. Saya menggunakan tuala jer. Sbb rasanya kain tuala mmg best, senang menyerap dan senang basuh.
And kalau rasa nak tebal lg.. bole add another layer camni
Some more.. lebar pad pon adjustable..
CP nii tak siap sepenuhnya pon lagi. To finish it with my snap press.. which is still on the way from tinytapir hahaha..
Regards;
Teringat masa mula2 cik P datang dulu.. mak ajar pakai tuala good morning je... ada tali pilak tu! :)
BalasPadammine mostly yg pocket style ni pasal nak kering punye issue la. pastu kalau rasa heavy flow je, tambah lagi la insert dia. kalau dah light flow, tak letak insert pun takpe, jadi cam liner je. I like this version pasal takde dryer. The AIO (all in one) tebal, kalau matahari panas cam sekarang nih baru la kering betul. So, good for you to find this pattern :)
BalasPadamkak cik.. actually bagus guna tuala camtuh dr guna disposable..
BalasPadamkak rozi.. wah WAHM pon ada masalah nak keringkan jugak yer. so bukanlah problem orang yg dok rumah malam2 je yer rupanya.
Mila, WAHM mmg dok rumah most of the time tapi keje kitorang 24/7 OK :)

BalasPadamKak rozi.. jgn mare.. I understand being a WAHM memang undefined office hours... cuma mungkin bole see the sun at home hihihi... my thot only.
BalasPadamNice! Good design! Very flexible and easy to dry.
BalasPadamgood idea of using the tuala kecil...
easily available.
BTW, if you don't sew the tuala to the base, just have tape to hold it in place, then no need so many base.. :)
BalasPadammana nak dapat kak...taula tu
BalasPadamsalam kak,
BalasPadampattern lipat2 mcm ni pun saya ada. tp saya cover sekeping tuala tu ngan flannel..sbb tak mau serat/bulu2 towel tu mcm lekat2 ngan darah kering kat kulit. paham ke? hahaha..
lgpun, org rumah takkan kompius nk pakai buat lap muka ke tgn ke pastu..kikiki!
Anic.. good ideajugak tu
BalasPadambrutalsolo.. nak dapat apa tuh
Lynn.. from my experience, tuala is the best sbb ianya tak spreading the blood. so far takde plak melekat kat bulu2 tuh, mmg senang sgt nak cuci. unlike flanel.. mcm bertompok2 skit.

BalasPadamsueann.. normally saya buang dulu darah2 tuh.. dah bersih baru rendam kejap. dlm 1/2 jam oklah. then baru basuh betul n sidai. kalau tak susah jugak nak hilangkan tompok2 tuh
