My Protex TY6800 Review

Everybody knows already about this "giant things" in my sewing corner right?
I post about it here

In just 2 days, what should I say about this eks?

Its a brand new Protex TY6800-M
Made in China, you can read in detail  here
Not the famous Juki, nor Brother or Singer, not even Jack
None of any famous brand but its.....
A Direct Drive lockstitch with needle postioning function.

Kenapa Direct Drive?
Disebabkan saya mencari hi-speed yang agak senyap, takut mengganggu jiran2 kan, so semua kedai (macam survey banyak kedai sangat kan) yang saya pergi mesti introduce me to a direct drive lockstitch. Jack yang cerita kat sini adalah direct drive lockstitch jugak. Tapi kalau compare dengan NV50 hahaha... with NV50 sometimes people wont notice that you are now operating it.

And if I were to take brand new Juki direct drive lockstitch, it will cost me double than this machine huhuhuhu.... yang 2nd hand pun dah 2k+++ oh tidak!, I cant afford that price. the same with Brother.

Dan tambah satu lagi function needle positioning tuh... mula2 dengar, saya rasa macam tak perlu pun, tapi bila dah guna, now I know... its good, saya tak perlu adjust jarum bila berenti dan nak keluarkan fabric, sebab mesin tuh bila stop automatik jarum naik ke atas, tak perlu pusing2 lagi dah... fuhhh senang kerja saya.

On the first day I get this machine which was on Wednesday, I manage to sew 30 units of pocket tissue holders for my sister's wedding in 2 hours. Wowowo... kalau dengan NV50 dulu, nak dapat 10 pun sakit. Bestkan... Tapi sorrylah yerrr.. the wedding gift tuh jadi my testing ground, ada yang jahitan kurang cantik jugak sebab tak reti lagi adjust tension benang, and not to mention... ada yang herot hahahaa... uncontrolled speed.

On the 2nd day, I finished half of the process of making 7 tissue box cover for car.. proses menjahit dah lebih cepat, lebih cepat dari proses ironing, loop turning etc etc..

Opsss before I ending this post, my morning today start with smile... because of my applique tutorial was featured at Totally Tutorial, you can find it here.. lalalalalalalala

This weekend is the longest weekend ever... Sat & Sunday, and another 2 days for Chinese New Year. We are soo lucky living in a multiracial country right.. everyone enjoys the celebration

To all my Chinese friends especially to Anic Khow.. Happy Chinese New Year

Regards;
